What I Do  

 

   
 

 

For a repair and service your camera will be:

  • Dismantled - shutter, mirror box and transport systems, fully cleaned
  • Any faults that you mentioned will be looked into and repaired
    (If major work is required at extra cost, I will always contact you first)
  • The shutter speeds will be checked and adjusted
  • Then the meter system will be checked and adjusted
  • Finally, the camera is tested to see that metering and shutter together give accurate exposure
  • All light seals (the black foam around the back door and top of mirror etc.) will be checked over and if needed, replaced
  
   
   

 

 

   Do you suffer from D I S M A N T L E I T I S?
Perhaps you have tried a bit of repair work yourself and just can't manage to fix the problem, have lost the vital screws or completely failed to put it together again! Talk to me about it - its a common illness and I just might be able to get your long lost "treasure" working again for a modest price. (I am also very, very, discreet and will not tell a soul about your condition!) 		   
         
         
  My test equipment has been designed by an American company for use in the camera repair industry. It tests the Camera shutter speeds, blind run times, exposure and much more. It also has a built in light that is calibrated to the standard EV lights levels for setting up your camera's exposure meter.
